Seascape / Abstract Painting in blues, greens, peach, orange, bronze, pink, purple, yellow and gold. This versatile painting has a 3cm deep edge in white, and looks well in any orientation. Though in the current orientationit becomes a seascape. This painting has a textured surface, using fibrous strands on the underpainting I have created a wavy undercurrent upon which the acrylic paint moves into grooves like the sea itself.
It is a substantial artwork that punches above its weight - a 50 cm work that creates the presence of a larger artwork.
To achieve this painting I have painted over a previous artwork, so while the painting is new, the canvas is not, but is in perfect structural order.
